Once again, The Raging Pigs rise to the occasion against a tough opponent to keep their improbable drive at the playoffs alive.

"Glebby [Gleb Morozov] really gave us some jump out the gate," said Pig Captain Joe Parlour, who had two assists in the game.

Morozov's shorthanded marker came 2:36 into the game and got the Pigs started. Hyry scored in the second to put the Pigs up 2-0, but Bizan HC stormed back and eventually took a 4-3 lead.

"Bizan HC kept us on our heels a lot," said Coach Coddling between sips of tea. "With a little help from the referees," he added noting that The Raging Pigs were awarded 5 penalties to Bizan HC's 0.

With 2:17 remaining, Hadrian Kotlarczuk knotted the game at 4-4 and put the game into overtime, which was inconclusive. Derek Deshane scored the only goal of the shootout on a 720 spin-o-rama backhander in the shootout.

"I just lost balance and got lucky," said Deshane with a wink.

With the crucial two points, the Pigs kept pace in the race for the bottom two playoff spots in II.3.

10 games remain this season. Five teams are within 4 points of 7th place. It's going to be an exciting finish.
