With the recent change in ownership, things have been looking up for the scrappy young hockey club from Grand Rapids. After only managing to amass 4 wins on the season prior, the club has now won 2 straight since Mr. Martin came on board on the 15th, including one friendly match.

With the club's future in mind, it seems the Rampage's new Owner/Manager has made a bold move in the middle of the season to shake things up. He has sent 5 of the club's top prospects deemed "important to the future of the franchise" to a special training camp. It's a bold move in at this point in the season, and could have an interesting effect on the next few games.

When asked about his thought process preceding the decision, Mr. Martin responded, "Well, the honest truth is that I didn't see the harm. I mean, come on, we've only got 5 wins here. It's not like we're going to make a hard push for first in the league in the next week."
