A capacity crowd of 450 at the Snake Tank saw the Ice Hogs take the points in their recent league game. The Taipans received 16 PIMs, something Coach Oswin was keen to talk about at the end.

'I want my team to be playing tough, physical hockey, but those penalties tonight killed us. Hull scored 4 on the powerplay, putting the game beyond us. I will be expecting a reduction in PIMs without a reduction in intensity'.

Tiredness was also mentioned, with this being the third game in three days for Taipans. Oswin commented, 'Tiredness is not an excuse I will accept from my players, they are all in good shape and coming off two clear victories'. Oswin seemed unconcerned about an extensive friendly fixture list, but added, 'If I feel friendlies are affecting our League performances, I will have no hesitation in scrapping them'.

The Taipans travel to seond place Goat Jazz on Monday in what is sure to be a tough game.
