Brisbane - This time last season Benjamin Healy was a high-potential rookie struggling to find his way on the ice. A lot can happen in a year, and a coaching change along with a new D pairing has seen Ben Healy step up and lead the Brisbane Stars in their inaugural season in Div 1.

Sebastian Jones, Healy's new offensive defenseman partner stated of Healy's play, "He's an incredible force out there and plays with a passion rarely seen these days. His vision and ability to setup plays is paramount to this years success".

Healy leads the Stars this season with 10 Goals and 17 Assists, a target more impressive when you consider Healy missed 9 games this season and has played just 21 games.

In other news, the Stars have sent 13 players to training camp today, the 2nd such camp in the last 40 days, and will be moving players around accordingly. Healy will most probably get top line minutes alongside veteran defenseman Benjamin Faint.
