As of Friday, June 15, 2012, Speedwagon65 has assumed control of Devo105’s team from League IV.6. New ownership has big plans for the franchise. To begin with, the team has been moved to the Highland Arena in the Southern California city of Highland. It has been renamed the Highland Kings in honor of the owner’s favorite NHL Team and 2012 Stanley Cup Champions, the Los Angeles Kings. The team’s jersey will be adorned with a blue and gold crown. Home jerseys will be black with a white stripe, sleeve to sleeve, and away jerseys will be white with a black stripe, sleeve to sleeve.

Winning is the ultimate goal! Beginning today, ownership plans to improve on the inherited 9th place record in the league standings. These improvement to the hockey club will start at the top with the general manager all the way down to the coaching staff. Nothing but a 100% effort towards Winning will be accepted. The core of the team will be built around home grown American talent. At the same time, management will not hesitate to improve the team by bringing in new players.
