The month of February didn't start off too well for The Canadian Express losing there second game against Cambridge Kickstart, 10-8.

"We didn't box them out and let them gain the inside." Said Express captain Kendall Morrissey referring to the two power play goals Kickstart scored.

Another cause for concern is goaltender Junior Watkins who has allowed 19 goals on 70 shots this season, for a save% of .728.

"I've played like **** to start off, I'm not impressed, I've let my teammates down, my job is to give my team a chance to win every night but I have yet to do that!" Said a Watkins.

Based on these first two games, it looks more and more like backup Andy Breacker will make his first appearance of the season in the next game against a very tough Juggernauts squad who will for sure come out gunning after losing a very tough 4-3 game against The Mignano Rangers. The Juggernauts, sitting in 8th place will be looking to move up the standings vs The Express who aren't looking to sharp defensively, which for sure isn't a good mix with The Juggernauts potent offense.

The Canadian Express are currently in a 3 way tie for 3rd overall in the league, hopefully they can come out with a better effort on Monday.

Hot- Left winger Brandt Morrison is hot recording 3 goals, 3 assists for 6 points in his first 2 games.

Not- Goaltender Junior Watkins, Watkins has allowed 19 goals on 70 shots (.728%) to begin his campaign, certainly a player who will be a big part for the Express to make the playoffs this year and needs to turn it around fast, really fast.
