Quiet and busy weeks are behind us. We now all know our opponent for the nationnal cup, best of luck to everybody!

We had a short interview with Vernon Straighpipers coach, Michal Kyncl. He is now thinking about retirement from hockey, and rumors says he might quit next year. He's a new face to the team, but brings much experience to the staff rosters.
Quiet hockey weeks, but that's what got our attention:

Who's hot:
*HL Hockey*
Another great run for this club, who managed to get a win over the vernon Straighpipers, delivering a first loss to this team this season. This team plays over exectations and is starting to be a serious contender for a promotion spot.

*Blackwings Legion*
Having 4 wins on 6 in the past week is not much a great achievment, but for this club taking home a win against Horn is a huge blow. Captain Goeff Reid stated after the win "We did gave alot of goals in this game, but we expected this since Horn is a offensive powerhouse, but being able to put that much in is great for us!"

Who's not:
*Horns*
A dreadful run to forget for this club, who played way under expectations. Notching only 2 wins in regular time, the team falled to position #4. Sources says that club manager Daniel Erben and headcoach Dejan Krajnc are having loud conversation these times around.

*Acadian Codiacs*
Currently on a 6 game loss streak, moral is at it's lowest among team members. But that's part of being an expansion team, building take times. On another note, the last 2 weeks schedule was a tough one for this young club. Captain Atticus Ferris is looking forward for the next game, as he will put all he has on the ice.
