"We are pretty concerned about it! (the recent trend towards kneeing penalties in the PPM games) Take tonight's game for example. We played hard and took some good aggressive penalties. A few 'slow 'em down' hooks. Two good, hard nosed boarding calls and a dandy little elbow there from (defenceman Jameson) Kumar. But two of their (Team PEI)'s calls were kneeing ones. That's like 66% of their penalties and that seems to be the trend nowadays. We like to grind it out with the best of them and we are known as a club who isn't afraid of a bit of checking from behind and stick swinging incidents. But knees end careers.
