As with anything that start a new this new season bring one of much promise for Vancouver Wild Jokers as this will be the teams first full season under the current management.

The team looks to improve on an impressive run to ninth overall in the league and winning the B pool of the play-off last season even with the current management taking over half way through the season.

"It was an very impress start to the new teams campaign but let get this straight that we ended up really buying these results rather the developing the team. That doesn't mean we are not proud of the results and looking to build off of them; it simple means we understand how we managed to gain the results." stated teams Owner and Hockey Operation Manager Robert Bouchard.

"We will have a very similar team with only one player departing through the transfer market but we will in the long term look to add more Canadian players to the mix as we continue to build up our Facilities to do so." continued Bouchard.

"Our focus this season will be to complete the project that we started mid season; which is to expand our Arena so that we can increase of profits. We have already seen a huge increase through Sponsorship as a whole so now we need the fans to support us through the season as well so that the other facilities can continue to grow as well." added Bouchard.

"We made huge strides in the first season and we will try to build off of those first few steps. This season we are targeting a much higher finishing place but we will not challenge for the championship per say since that isn't our intentions at this time. We are still simple looking to improve our team all over the place off the ice more then currently on the ice since we have the team that will be successful." Stated Bouchard.
