(AP) A video allegedly showing Dunnville Mudcat boss Paul Roedb hitting one of the team players is making the rounds on social media sites today. After last night's 3-0 defeat of the Exterminators, an irate Roedb can be seen in the visitor's dressing room, berating his team for their play. Despite the lopsided shot count and eventual victory, Roedb was unhappy with the 2 for 11 performance on the power play, and thus his post game tirade, directed primarily at quarterback Atticus Cousins, who can be seen in the video staring dejectedly at the floor. Suddenly, the Mudcat GM grabs an unattended hockey stick and strikes Cousins repeatedly in the neck and shoulder area, shouting, "Next time I'll just cut it off!" before several players can be seen wrestling the stick away from him as the video ends. At a hastily arranged press conference this morning, team attorney Ed Valentine referred to the video as "doctored" and "clearly faked", although Dunnville General Hospital reported treating the Dunnville defenceman for minor injuries consistant with the stick attack. Calls to the team's legal department were unanswered at press time.
