GM TwigStarz got a bit of a late Christmas gift early this afternoon, picking up winger Zayden Colquhoun from Reflex De Montreal for $5 million.

Colquhoun, 21, was a 2nd round draft pick in season 36. Having never played a game in Montreal, he'll look to start his career in the Cinderblock City, hopefully helping Bricktown move up the table and make a strong playoff run.

When asked about the transfer, GM TwigStarz winked, admitting luck was on his side; 'What can you do?' Luck has played a big part in our season, and today was no different.'

Let's all give Zayden a big welcome and bring in the New Year right tomorrow night when we face off against the Ontario Minerva.

Puck drop is at 1pm.
