The owners of the old hockey franchise Check Republic are back, this time with Check Republic 2! The arena is called The Resurgence, and they believe they can have success again. Reverist has once again been hired as the GM/team president.

"I believe we can do something great here," reverist said at a press conference. "Though it will take time."

Reverist stressed that even though Check Republic 2 is already in Tier II, it will take time and patience to see success. Though fans may not want to hear it, he added, there may be relegation before there is promotion.

Nonetheless, there was optimism surrounding the team. Even team legend Stephen Sanderson has come back as an adviser, to restore the team to its glory days.

The immediate issue now, team representatives stressed, is avoiding relegation this season.
