The Minnesota Frostbite play their inaugural game today after recently being granted a League II.1 franchise. General Manager Joe said "we know it will be an uphill battle jumping into the middle of a tough season with a young roster, but we welcome the challenge." The Frostbite have immediately begun updating their arena, putting an emphasis on providing fans an exciting game day atmosphere. "We are going to play solid, fundamentally-sound, two-way hockey" Joe said when asked about the team's identity, "we are going to do this the right way, and not rush it or take shortcuts. We plan on developing our talent within our organization. The Frostbite are in it for the long-haul."
