(Excerpt from tonight's episode of Inside Hockey with Michael Landsberg)

Landsberg - "You complained after last night's game about referee Jack Timmins. You basically accused him of partisanship."

Roedb - "Oh come on Michael! I simply pointed out that he is a Manitoba native and the Pylons (last night's opponent) are too."

Landsberg - "But you also stated that you assume that (Pylon head coach) Tyler Sharpe would take him hunting next summer. You know, pay him back for the favour. How did you put it, 'Let him shoot one of his buffalo?'". (Sharpe's family farms buffalo outside of Winnipeg.)

Roedb - "Ah *&#% Michael look at the game! That @(*hole Timmins gave our side 10 PENALTIES and only 2 to them. How lopsided is that. He hits (defenseman Kamil) Pietron with a crosschecking penalty when the replay clearly shows that it was his gloves that connected with the guys head, not his stick. Then, when the game is long over, he nails him again for boarding. Did you see the hit?

Landsberg - "He ran him head first into the boards!"

Roedb - "No he didn't! He ran him into the air and the guy fell face first into the boards. That's a problem with balance, not rule breaking!"
