The Vancouver Wild Jokers name has been replaced as the team relocated again and will take a new name while playing out of a new stadium known as the Igloo.

"Last season we knew change was upon us with some of the off season transaction that took place to weak the team on the ice but strength the team off the ice." Stated Team Manager Robert Bouchard. "We however never seen the move to Edmonton as part of the teams future but we expect great things from the City of Champions." Added Bouchard.

"Key aspect to the move is name change, color scheme and arena that should fit if not enhance our teams brand. We have also decided about half way through last season to switch our focus again back to the on ice product as they teams coming down from higher division are simple too strong to have us competing at the bottom of the table in this market." commented Bouchard.

"We have been active in the markets collecting a few 26 years that are restricted with their clubs to add depth in all positions. We have targeted Canadian Players since we want an mainly Canadian team. This should see our team fight for top 8 in the league again this season after mis-calulating the our team strength last season seeing us place 9th again in our second season." continued Bouchard.

"The team has made huge progress and we will slowly move towards home grown talent over the next 3-4 season depending on our development programs. Our Arena is still our main focus with more revenue possible with bigger stadium; which will only strength our position off and on the ice." claimed Bouchard.

"We have clear objects on and off the ice that we would like to reach in a short as possible time frame but it takes time to build a championship Team on and off the ice." Stated Bouchard clearly.
