At a brief press conference general manager Matthew Cooper fielded some questions about the Celt's chances to win the playoffs and at minimum secure promotion to league II.

"We are focused on game one vs. Bikini Island - our goal is to win game one and after that we'll start talking about winning game two. Our coaches and our players are all chomping at the bit to get out on the ice and start the second season with a bang. We've got some stiff competition in III.6 this year - the best OR of all league III's in the country and two top teams in the Rangers and Frozen Pond - anyone can win this, it's a wide open race. We're lucky to have both of them across the bracket from us - but we've still got to get through a few quality teams over here as well. All that said I won't lie and say that I'd be happy with anything less than a promotion. I've built this team to succeed and I expect them to."

Cooper then closed the conference early citing a need to "drop a deuce" Although I am befuddled at his crass comment, I am not surprised, his playing days were rife with such oddball and off color comments.
