"Yeah, we called in Ed [Valentine, Mudcats' team attorney] because of the reaction today in the local paper. I mean, [Mudcat winger Junior] Harvey has been on the blocks for five days already and they're just figuring it out now. Plus all the other guys. It really shows the educational standards here in Ontario, with reading and general awareness and all that %#*}. But yeah, they seem pissed and we're getting a bit nervous."

Comments earlier today from Mudcat GM and President Paul Roedb after local media announced the team's impending break up. Roedb has had a contentious relationship with the Southern Ontario town the entire length of his tenure.
