Man kann sagen, Mike Modesti war der erste grosse Torhüter der Sharks. In seiner langer Karriere holte er Auszeichnungen für den Besen Torhüter einer Liga und kanns ich auch Allstar-Torhüter nennen (dies in CZE und CH).

Mit seiner Ruhe und Talent hat er für die Sharks während 5 Saison diverse Siege gestohlen, Punkte festgehalten und dafür gesorgt, dass aus einem Abstiegskandidaten ein guter und hart zu spielender Mittelfeldklub wurde.
