Six games in and the Gryphons are a solid 3-3 with a +5 goal differential. The more remarkable stat is their home and away record. 3-0 at Veterans Memorial Arena, 0-3 away from it. Interestingly enough, two new faces are leading the scoring charge thus far.

"It's certainly not a good sight. One could suggest it is our new guys not being able to keep up, but really our PIMS are spread evenly throughout the team for the most part. Guelph has played what is arguably the toughest opening schedule imaginable and now has a lighter schedule through to the half-way mark.
"I've been liking playing for the team thus far. I've been getting lots of PP time and decent 5-on-5 time. I know I'm not a top Dman on the team but they have high hopes for me. This concludes a brief edition of Gryph News. Stay tuned as new league rules have prompted many close games and it is bound to be a very exciting season of hockey.
