(The following is an excerpt from a recent episode of Inside Hockey with Michael Landsberg.)

Landsberg - (Interviewing Mudcat RW Damien "Chirpy" Rogers) "We understand that Ross "Raging" Harding will soon be named captain of the club."

Rogers - "Yeah, well you know Michael that's just one of those things, you know? Oldrich (former captain and Czech floater Oldrich Olbrich) did a really good job when we were beating the ^#%$ out of the league controlled teams but now we are in tough with real clubs and that kind of open style he has where he camps out at the opposing blue line just doesn't really cut it anymore, you know?"

Landsberg - "Harding is American. Will this be a problem?"

Rogers - "No, we are slowly getting used to his accent, you know? Ross is a really great guy, you know, a real straight shooter. He is a real stand up guy in the dressing room, a bit stiff I guess, but always ready to go, you know? He 's a bit of a ladies man they say but I am sure that his carousing will be done in a semi-controlled way."

Landsberg - "How about his communication style?"

Rogers - "In one word? Fluid".

Landsberg - "Thanks Damien."

Rogers - "Thank you Michael."
