After day one it was no suprise that powerhouses Victoria Cougars won their opener over Necrophiliacs. And two major players, The Mississauga Lions and Rickles HC clashed in their opener with the Lions skating to victory. The Southside Warriors edged out newcomers Black Hats. The Winnipeg Winners, Les Radonteurs and The Moderatly Neato all had easy victories over unmanaged grassroots teams. The Halifax Hawks skimmed by Les Bombardiers in overtime! Westfort Rangers doubled up the Dragons de Montréal. The Archers skimmed by the Tire Irons. And Canadien de Montréal fell to a Team NoName.
Hopefully everyone is pleased with their teams opening preformances! I know I can't wait to see what the season has in store! Good luck managers on your upcoming games.
