Week one started with a bang in league IV.2 with a huge change in the teams. Many of the old teams from seasons past have folded and now left the league with eleven grassroots Team No-names. But after three games, league favorites Mississauga Lions have come out strong. With wins over Rickles HC, the Tire Irons and Dragons de Montréal, they are the only team so far to play against managed teams. But it is way to early to count out a lot of teams. Rickles bounced back with back to back wins including one against Les Bombardiers.
Southside Warriors, Victoria Cougars and the Moderatly Neato have all had easy times so far with three games against No Names to boost them all up to three-nil standings. Victoria will have a hard fought game coming up this Monday against Rickles though! The Archers also have a perfect season on the go with another No Name planned for Monday. But on Wednesday The Archers and Moderatly Neato will be squaring off at Rampart Gardens!
Monday night also brings a game between Dragons de Montréal vs. Les Bombardiers, both vying for their first win on the season! This one should be an intense match up! And the Tire Irons hope to add up another win against a Team No Name. This upcoming week looks to be a good one!
