HC Beastie Boys showed their class in a 3-1 win over the Wyverns on home ice.

Against the run of play Wyverns struck first with a goal from 3rd line defenseman ZUZA MENA. The tide turned in the second period as two quick goals restored balance before a third in the final period effectively killed the tie.

Between the pipes HERVE BROCARD stood tall, finishing the game with a 92% SA despite the constant peppering of his net, yet somehow received no star player award.

But that was the last worry for manager ADAM RANSOM as he now has to get the coaches to get that first line playing in harmony and scoring. 'It would have been nice to have gotten further, but now we can concentrate solely on the league and playoffs.' He said of the result.
