This week was an important one for the Mineurs. They were facing two big rivals and the Griffins

First, the Mineur were back at home to face Québec Ice-Dogs. After 2 goals by Kandrac and Tutill Québec Ice-Dogs scored two straigth goal before the end of the first to tie this game 2-2. Even if the Mineurs were dominating the 2nd, no goal were scored and it was still tied. In the 3rd, Grzegorczyk and again Kandrac scored to give a 4-2 win for the Mineurs.

The second game wasn't very exciting whit a complete domination of the Mineurs. Duez(7 pts, Harasta (6 pts) and Kandrac (3 goals) were the best player in this 23-0 win.

Friday, The Mineurs were probably facing one of there biggest rival since season 11. Kim Gunnarson played a perfect game and the Mineur won an important game over EdmoOilers. Duez and Grzegorczyk scored the goals to give a 2-0 win over EdmoOilers.

The Mineurs also pulled Rene Turnbull and Jeff Cake from there Sport Academy. Also to avoid a taxe for a big amount of players the Mineurs sold Semyon Verhoturov and Antonín Fajka, both to H.C. Chicago Blackhawks, for a gain of about 1 000 000 $.
