New team strength calculation
Hi guys,
another season is coming to an end. We hope you enjoyed it and that you are motivated and ready for the next one. Starting next season there will be one improvement regarding the calculation and display of team strength.
As you know, team strength shows the average strength of all 4 (or 3) lines that have played in the last league game. The goalkeeping strength is influenced mainly by the starting goalie and much less by the backup goalie.
As of next season this will change. Team strength will be more representative of the true strength of your team in the game as it will be calculated based on the time on ice. For goalkeepers this means, that if you didn't change them during the game, the total goalkeeping strength will equal the strength of the starting goalkeeper. If you changed goalkeepers during the game, the strength shown will based on the time each goalkeeper spent in goal. The same applies to the other indicators which will be based on the time on ice of each line.
As usual, we will be regrouping the two lowest league levels in a number of countries to remove inactive teams and increase competitiveness. This season the league regrouping will take place in the following countries:
Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, USA
Good luck in the new season!
