Canada Brampton Capitals† - Capitals News

2 games away from the halfway point of season 5 and the Brampton Capitals are not looking as good as they had hoped.
Team owner mrnegative15 made himself available for comment for the first time this season with a quick statement: "It's been a tough season. We've switch coaches, goalies, and brought in 3 key pieces, unfortunately, we've also sold alot of players and we've had to move towards a youth movement. The future of this team lies outside of the Powerade Centre. We've been heavily investing in player development and that will continue going forward. We're also going under major restructuring in the Powerade Centre. Part of the stadium's development plan it to change from a hockey only facility to a multi-functional facility. Our goal is to add multi-funtional seating to the west side of the stadium and remove all the standing room sections. We want to have the ability to present concerts and other sporting events in the Powerade Centre to create a facility that will be a entertainment hot spot for Brampton. It's a process that will take time, but we're committed to giving the city of Brampton a true entertainment complex with the Powerade Centre and Chrysler Park.
