Canada Bizan HC† - BHC Playoff Hopes Evaporate in T.O.

Bizan Hockey Club suffered find themselves on the bottom looking up after Friday's game against the Toronto Warriors. With two formidable opponents coming in the final two draws of the season, the game was not the spirit-lifting win that the team needed to close out the season strong and push for a playoff birth.

Bizan GM was reticent after his team's loss: "It was a big blow...it isn't looking good right now..." Although not mathematically eliminated, BHC is facing an uphill battle while their opponents look to cruise through the final two games with ease. Coach Chad Gagne could not be reached for comment after the game. His performance this season started strong and gave the Bizanos great hope for a top seed in the playoffs, but since the midway point of the season, his players have fallen off their early season form. Gagne is certainly feeling the pressure.

BHC Goalie Josef Malý took the fall for the early hole the team found themselves in. "I should have had those first three goals. I let the team down today in the first period. They showed great strength in putting the pressure on the Warriors the rest of the game, but I let us get down quick." Despite his comments, the team as a whole sputtered out of the gates: BHC allowed 3 even strength goals in the first period and could never come back.

The answers this team seemed to have coming into this week have turned into more questions:

Will Gagne be around to coach season 3?

What off-season changes will the Bizan GM make to build up his team for the coming season?

Who will emerge as a leader on this emotionally defeated team?

BHC fans will have these and many more questions on their minds over what will likely be a long and spiteful off-season for the veteran club.

In other news: Captain Stu Baudouin's left forearm injury is worse than expected, and he will likely miss the remainder of the season including any playoff games played.
