Birmingham Baron's chances of a top 8 finish were dealt a blow last night as their three game winning streak under new manager Matt came to an end.

The Barons faced a tough game at Consol Energy Center against The Skeleton Penguins who just proved to be too strong a team, winning the game 11-6.

Manager Matt had this to say,

'We just failed to capitalise on our chances, where they made the most of theirs. I was disappointed with our powerplay performance in particular as despite the Penguins being dealt a number of penalties, we couldn't take advantage.'

When asked about the rest of the season Matt told our reporter, 'There are still a lot of games left. We just need to put this loss behind us and move on.'
