United Kingdom Romford Tornadoes† - Tornadoes got finally Kitted

Romford, Wednesday June 23rd – Finally the Romford Tornadoes have received their long waited for jerseys. The team has been donned in the recognizable dark gold and blue colours. It has been a while, since the sponsor has promised them; but after a few seasons (and changes of sponsors), the current sponsor (Asia Enterprise) has finally brought in the new kit. The manager, Alexander Lowenhart, was delighted with the arrival and the much needed beer flew richly in the dressing room after training at Romford Ice Arena. A delighted, and slight intoxicated Alexander, commented “We finally got our kit, it was much needed. No kit sponsor, no socks and just generic jerseys. Who expects a team donned like that to promote?!” and the players did agree with him with a good loud cheer. We do wonder what will happen tomorrow with a hung-over match.

Also, the manager and club has laid connections with the United States of America; involving a team from Toledo, Ohio. A new manager, Nikki, has been appointed for the Toledo Storm and Alexander has made approaches to her involving exchange of tactics, results and perhaps even transfers. The manager himself kept rather calm under it all “No, we are not looking into bringing American, or even foreign, reinforcements to the team. I am happy how the team is now and works together. Yes, we are embracing the second spot again. I guess that we just belong there.” It has emerged from the States that Alexander has been pushing the new manager to go for States only players and to endeavour realizing their dream to play for the country. Something even the person who gave the advice hasn’t fulfilled even…

Tonight, the Tornadoes will face the Los Angeles Knights (placed 18) in a league match, they will lose much valuable points.. They recently won over local rivals Leytonstone with just one point. We hope sincerely that the players will not be too hung over.
