The Fans are pleased with how the season is going; in fact, they have started to show extra support in many small ways:
Food establishments will no longer serve the players alcohol or junk food saying "our boys need to be the best they can be, and we want to help"
Government agencies will no longer allow them to wait in line "what if their legs get tired standing - we send them home, they can do their business with us after the season....what, no of course all the normal fines apply"
Police will not let them drive or walk around town "what if they get in an accident, we are keeping a police officer outside their house to make sure they stay in and rest"
Even their wives and girl friends have banded together "no sex until after the playoffs - we couldn't bare the thought of tiring our boys out"
This reporter is pleased to hear of so much support and encouragement from this town. The boys seem to be appreciating everything, as they always hit the ice with murder in their eyes.
