Spain Rockwall Rangers† - Rockwall Ranger’s Press Conference at the Rockwall Center (24-2-2012)

Transcript from Rockwall Ranger’s Press Conference at the Rockwall Center (24-2-2012).

(President & General Manager Nicholas Nix)

Good evening and thank you all for joining us here tonight. We have a few issues that will be discussed briefly.

The first is that Former Head Coach Lorenz Mayer has been let go from our organization for the remaining amount owed on his contract. We will continue forward with our current and continuing leadership under Head Coach Owen Cotton.

Aside from that we have reached a naming rights agreement for the Rockwall Center. The Blacklands Railroad Corporation has purchased full naming rights for the remainder of this season, with possible renewal of rights for the next season, of the currently named Rockwall Center. The name change will take place Saturday the 25th of February, 2012.

The name of the current Rockwall Center will be changed to the “Blacklands Railroad Arena” during an official ceremony on Monday the 27th of February, 2012 to celebrate the new name. The “Railyard Club” will also be opened that night and inaugurated at 3:00 P.M., on the lower-level of Section E.

I would like to thank The Blacklands Railroad for their cooperation and all desire to purchase the naming rights to our club’s home. We look forward to bring a new Railroad theme to the old Rockwall Center in time for the Opening of “Blackands Railroad Arena”.

Also we will be inaugurating our first entry into the Rockwall Rangers’ Hall of Fame that night while also opening the Rockwall Rangers’ Hall of Fame in the lower-level of Section E.

Milton “The Red Stapler” Dunbar #95 will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Monday Night’s game. We will also ceremonially retire the number 95, to only be used by Milton for the duration of his career. I would like to thank Milton, for his dedication to our team and his years of dedication to the sport.

I will not be taking any questions tonight instead questions maybe redirected at Team Manager Julià Alonso in a moment. I will be leaving know but we all hope to see you all again on Monday Night for the ceremonies here at Blacklands Railroad Arena.

Thank you all. (Pres. & G.M. Nix)
