Canada Brampton Capitals† - Playoff Dreams Die.

The Brampton Capitals lost to rival Actus by a score of 4 to 2 yesterday, eliminating Brampton from playoff competition. Capitals owner mrnegative15 addressed the media yesterday after the loss.

"I came out here to say the coaches and players will not be addressing the media today. We thank the fans and the media for their interest in the team and we mean no offense by doing this. Today is a tough day. Personally, I felt the team could have won this game and I believe our fans and player will agree with that statement. That's not to take anything away from Actus. The Capitals will be taking today to mentally re-adjust. The worst thing we could do is let this effect our play in the placement games. We have the Victoria Grizzlies tomorrow at home and as a thank you to the fans we've reduced ticket prices for that game. We encourage our fans to come out and see the Capitals, as we are not going to be fielding a "b" roster team, we want to win these placement games! Our goal is 5th place and we want the fans to come along on that ride. Thank you."
