Brisbane - The Stars are proud to announce the signing of Restricted Free Agent, Heinz Enz.

Enz, a member of the Swiss International squad is a puck moving defenseman with an eye for the net and a history of setting up big plays.

The signing fee, a record $100M for the Stars franchise shows a move by team management to take the squad to the next level of hockey and compete in the international tournaments.

No stranger to major tournaments, Enz has played over 500 professional games, and seen at least 2 matches in every major tournament available. In 387 league matches he has 72G and 226Pts.

Enz will play his first game for the Stars tonight in a Cup Winners Cup match where it is expected he will play on the second line alongside Australian Ryan Gilchrist.
