The Waterlooville Goats are pleased to announce the signing of two new players tonight.
After lengthy negotiations the Goats finally landed the services of Tony Paris who is the famous 29 year old German who has spent the last 10 seasons with Germany Club "amRandederBande". He is a top quality forward who has scored lots of poibts in every season he has played.
Also joining the Goats is Giacomo Däpp who is from Switzerland and is a hard hitting defenceman with a mean slap shot. He spent 7 seasons in the Swiss league with "THC Säuliamt".
Head coach Ranby was delighted with the news that both players have agreed terms with the Goats and commented " We have been working hard behind the scences to secure some top names from big clubs around the globe and these two should set the league alight".
"Tony Paris is very well known in Germany and is an excellent team player who has a wealth of experience, and Giacomo Dapp is an exciting defenceman who will get the fans up on their feet with some big hits and some eveb bigger fists!".
Both players will make their debuts tomorrow against Colders.
