(The following is an excerpt from the third and final part of a recent interview with Better Management Magazine.) "I met Mike (team owner Michael D'Agostino) during a poker game in downtown Vancouver. We were both local boys so we hit it off right away and soon I found myself managing one of his shops. (The D'Agostino family are owners of the local Hello Pizza chain.) When they bought the franchise and located it out east in Dunnville they asked me to run the show and I happily obliged. It is great to have rich owners who you also can call friends. They give me complete control of the show and I can do whatever the hell I want. You know, just like the pizza joints, the team is here to suck up money and provide coverage for whatever they (the D'Agostinos) are really in business for."
