(Excerpt from recent episode of Inside Hockey with Michael Landsberg)

Landsberg - "You have some suggestions on ways to improve the draft right?"

Roedb - "Yeah we do. I don't know the actual number of GM's who watch the live feed of the draft but we do, you know. At least in the National Cup you get to see those four suits up on stage pulling out the balls or whatever so it is a little more sexy but the league draft is just plain dull."

Landsberg - "So you would like to see more audio visual content then?"

Roedb - "Sure, like how about the GM's profile pics when they announce their choice. At least for the first round like they do in the pros you know. The big guy comes down from the exec box to put the jersey on the future franchise kid. After that, for the later rounds, they could send in their personal assistants to announce their picks. I don't know about the rest of the PPM boss population but a little more Lisa Kim and Ginger Morgan would be sure to jack up them ratings, you know?"
