Roedb - "It's amazing how much this game has changed, especially from the top end. Take a look at how these organizations go about business, especially during the off season. Open door mini camps. Team building activities with ticket holders invited. Absolute bull$*#(. But it seems to work - have a look at how the Canucks run their summer. This is the kind of strange offspring you get when you put the Trevor Linden's of hockey in suits and teach them the back-end of the sport. From the outside it is embarrassing, comical in fact but it really seems to suck the fans in and give them a sense of involvement even though these clubs couldn't give a (#*$ what they think. We obviously don't need to do any of this down here in Dunnville; the subtleties of these activities would be totally lost on the typical fan in this town. In this case we are lucky - the people here are extremely low maintenance."
