With the return of the Steamengines to Marion, operator Mansfield has come back to PPM hockey. "I'm excited to be here!" the former GM was quoted as saying. "I missed the league, missed the excitement of the games, and just missed everything. I'm sorry to see that the team has fallen on hard times but I'm excited to build it back up again and get back to the higher leagues."

When pressed about his strategy, Mansfield replied, "going to have to go shopping. Have a lot of paperwork to do and there's no special "line skip" for us old timers so give me about 10 days or so and I'll be working the boards and finding some players to help get my team back in the black!"
