In a very abrupt announcement this morning, Jaguars owner C. Wall announced the immediate liquidation of the Jaguars' roster and termination of his team's deal to play in Jackson.

"Yes, the team is folding," said Wall. "I no longer have the desire or inspiration to run this team, and without leadership this team has no business in the system."

When pressed for comment, Wall generally cited "Personal Reasons" but finally gave the following anecdote to the media:

"The Jaguars migrated here from another international hockey organization, along with quite a few other teams. We have caught a glimpse of the future of this startup league, once players mature, and believe it will have the same problems as the one we left.

"This unfortunate reality became clear to our management as soon as we realized our dream -- playing in League 1 of the USA -- and then realized promoting was a tremendous financial mistake. We emigrated the Jaguars out from our last league to avoid wasting time in an organization that could not solve the fundamental problems that keep lower league teams from effectively competing in higher levels.

"I am now emigrating the Jaguars from this league for the same reason."
