The Buggies have looked back to last year's goaltender Dominik "The Dominator" Mensik to close up the pipes in the Elmira end.

Head Coach Isaac Ferraro admits putting new goalie Blahoslav Zalesnak in the starting position so soon after joining the team wasn't a great decision in hindsight, not because he's a bad goalie, but because he had little experience before joining the team.

"I still think I can contribute to the team in a good way," said Zalesnak. "I just need more practice, as I had stressed to the coaches when I joined the team."

Ferraro said he believed Zalesnak was ready to make the jump from the beginning, but clearly that hasn't been the case.

Either way, the team has a long way to go if they still plan on making the playoffs like they projected before the season began.
