Elmira Horse And Buggies† - Mistakes in management continue to hamper buggies
This week has gotten off to a bad start for the buggies due to yet another communication error from the management to the coaches.
"Somewhere along the line, the message never reached the coaches that Dominek was supposed to start. By the time the message would have gotten there, it would have been too late regardless," said Assistant Manager Miroslav Weiss. "We're taking steps to make sure this does not happen again."
Buggies fans are a little upset about this year's performance to date.
"We thought for sure they'd be doing better," said Matt Stevens, 17, of Alma. "It's disgusting this year."
24-year-old Jessica Adams agrees, but sees improvement in the near future.
"They have what it takes, they've proven that, but they need to focus and get down to it."
