First screenshot from handball
The time has finally come when we can show you the first screenshot from the upcoming handball game we are developing. What you are looking at is the profile of a coach. We are especially proud to present the Handball background and colors which we hope you will enjoy as much as we do.
We are gradually moving forward with the development. The programmers are working every day on creating the basic database framework for the new game as well as the so-called crons which act as the driving force behind the whole game. Theoretical foundations for the game engine are beginning to take shape as well, although there is still a lot of work to be done on that front before we can start coding it.
The question on your lips is no doubt "when?". When will handball finally be launched? That is a tough question to answer. Our experience from the past has taught us not to publish any deadlines because it would only lead to disappointment if the deadlines were not met. There are always things that we cannot predict. What I can tell you, is that we are doing our best to launch the beta version by the end of this year.
I also have some updates on hockey and soccer. In hockey the new live broadcast is close to a state where we could launch it. However, we are still missing some types of plays and we need to revise some portion of the existing plays before we can go public with this. It may take about a month if all goes well.
In soccer the new substitutions and line-up setup are even closer to launch. Currently we are fixing the last bugs. The match engine is already updated to take into account the new substitution options and it has been tested as well. It's just the drag & drop feature that still causes some problems.
That's all, have a nice day!
